Two homoeopathic medical colleges affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nashik have announced recruitment for 65 faculty posts — including Principal, Professor, Associate Professor/Reader, and Assistant Professor/Lecturer. MUHS Homoeopathic Faculty Recruitment 2026 — 65 Posts

Konkan Education Society is hiring faculty for its two colleges — Loknete Adv. Datta Patil Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital (Vengurla, Sindhudurg) and Chandrakant Hari Keluskar Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital (Alibag, Raigad). Both institutions are affiliated to MUHS, Nashik. This recruitment is being done under Advt. No. 19/2026 to fill up vacancies in the Homoeopathic Faculty (UG) stream. Qualifications and experience requirements follow NCH Notification No. 3-35/2021 and its amendments.

Who Can Apply?

The qualifications for all teaching positions follow NCH Notification No. 3-35/2021/NCH/HEB/MES.C. dated 11/03/2024, NCH Notification No. 3-42/2021/NCH/HEB/PG dated 18/03/2024, and the amended notification dated 14/02/2025.

General Qualification Requirements

  • Assistant Professor / Lecturer: MD (Homoeopathy) in the relevant subject from a recognised university. Teaching/research experience as prescribed by NCH norms.
  • Associate Professor / Reader: MD (Homoeopathy) in the relevant subject with minimum prescribed years of teaching experience as Professor or equivalent.
  • Professor: MD (Homoeopathy) with substantial teaching experience as per NCH norms.
  • Principal: MD (Homoeopathy) with the required experience as Professor/HOD as per NCH/MUHS guidelines.

Domicile: Reservation benefits are available only to candidates who are domiciled in Maharashtra.

Age Limit

  • Age limit and relaxation: As per MUHS and NCH norms
  • Age and educational qualifications will be considered as on the last date of application (21 April 2026)
  • Experience will be counted up to the earlier day of the interview

Salary

  • Pay Scale: As per rules — following the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) norms for homoeopathic faculty
  • Assistant Professor (indicative): Pay Level 10 — entry pay around Rs. 57,700 per month plus allowances (DA, HRA, medical benefits)
  • Associate Professor (indicative): Higher pay level as per NCH/UGC norms
  • Professor (indicative): Higher pay level as per NCH/UGC norms
  • Principal (indicative): Pay Level 13A — entry pay around Rs. 1,31,100 per month plus allowances
  • Exact salary details will follow government and institutional pay rules

Responsibilities

  • Handle lectures, practicals, and clinical training for BHMS undergraduate students in the assigned subject
  • Prepare course material, lesson plans, and examination papers as per MUHS and NCH curriculum requirements
  • Assist in conducting university examinations and evaluating answer sheets
  • Monitor student progress through internal assessments and provide guidance for academic improvement
  • Work in the attached homoeopathic hospital for clinical postings and patient care duties
  • Follow NCH and MUHS guidelines for maintaining teaching standards and research output
  • Manage departmental records, attendance registers, and academic reports
  • Participate in faculty development programmes, workshops, and continuing medical education (CME) activities
