MKU Project Assistant Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

Madurai Kamaraj University (MKU), a University with Potential for Excellence in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, has announced recruitment for 1 Project Assistant (PA) position. This is a purely temporary assignment under CMRG Project No. CMRG250136, sponsored by the Government of Tamil Nadu, Higher Education Department. The project titled "A Study on the level of awareness of Digital Literacy and usages of ICT skills among Differently Abled People in Tamil Nadu" will run for 3 years. If you have a postgraduate degree in Journalism or Communication, this is a great opportunity to work on meaningful research.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You need a First Class in any of the following Master's degrees:
  • MA Journalism and Mass Communication
  • MSc Communication and Journalism
  • MSc Electronic Media
  • MA Communication
• Class Requirement: First Class is mandatory in your qualifying degree.

Salary

• Selected candidate will get a fellowship of Rs. 25,000 per month (consolidated salary).
• This is a purely temporary position for the duration of the project (3 years).

Selection Process

The selection will be done through:

1. Shortlisting: Only eligible candidates based on qualification and documents will be shortlisted.
2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

• Assist in writing research papers and preparing project reports
