About This Job
The Maharashtra State Commission for Right to Service (MCRTS), also known as Maharashtra Rajya Seva Hakka Aayog, is hiring 1 Retired Officer on a contract basis. This position is open to retired government officers from Group A (Grade Pay below Rs. 7,600) or Group B (Gazetted) cadre. MCRTS Retired Officer Recruitment 2026 — 1 Post
The Maharashtra Rajya Seva Hakka Aayog, headquartered at the New Administrative Building (7th Floor) opposite Mantralaya in Mumbai, works to ensure that citizens of Maharashtra get government services in a transparent and time-bound manner under the Maharashtra Right to Public Services Act, 2015. The Commission is now looking for 1 retired government officer to join on a contract basis to help with its administrative and financial functions. The appointment is governed by Government Resolution No. CBI-1525/Pr.Kr.37/Aasthama(Ka.13), dated 20 June 2025.
Who Can Apply?
Qualification
- You must be a Graduate (any discipline)
- You must have knowledge of accounts and financial work experience
- You should have retired from government service in Group A (Grade Pay below Rs. 7,600) or Group B (Gazetted) cadre
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in the relevant cadre before retirement
Work Profile
- Subject-wise accounting work of the Commission
- Preparing budget proposals and handling grant-related matters
- Procurement of office materials and stationery
- Coordination with the State Service Rights Commissioner regarding fund demand registration and accounting
- Preparing and submitting subject-wise reports on government references
- Assisting transition officers and department heads
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 58 years
- Maximum Age: 64 years
- Since this post is for retired government officers, you must be between 58 and 64 years of age at the time of application
Salary
- This is a contractual/honorarium-based appointment
- The exact honorarium amount will be as per the terms of the Government Resolution dated 20 June 2025
- The selected officer will not be entitled to any casual leave, medical leave, or earned leave
- The selected officer will not hold any administrative or financial authority and cannot sign any government letter or order
