MAHATRANSCO Apprentice Electrician ITI Recruitment 2026

About This Recruitment

Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company Limited (MAHATRANSCO) has invited applications for 32 Apprentice Electrician (ITI) posts. These are apprenticeship training positions under the Apprentices Act, 1961. The training will be at EHV O&M Division, Baramati in Pune district, Maharashtra.

This is an apprenticeship opportunity, not regular employment. Selected candidates will get hands-on training in electrical maintenance at Extra High Voltage (EHV) substations.

Who Can Apply

• You must have passed Maharashtra SSC (10th) exam
• You must hold an ITI certificate in Electrician trade recognised by NCTVT or MSBSVET
• You must be between 18 and 38 years of age (5 years relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/EWS candidates)
• You must have a Maharashtra domicile certificate
• You must NOT have completed any apprenticeship training before

Stipend

Selected apprentices will get a monthly stipend as per the Apprentices Act rules. The estimated minimum stipend for ITI holders is around Rs. 8,200 per month.

Selection Process

Selection is purely merit-based. There is no written exam, interview, or oral test. Merit will be calculated based on 50% weightage of the average marks from SSC and ITI exams.
