Selection Process
The selection approach varies by post level. For General Manager, AGM, and Sr. Manager, you will go through an Assessment Centre Test that includes In-Basket Exercise, Group Discussion, Case Discussion, and Presentation Skills evaluation, followed by a Personal Interview. For Manager and Dy. Manager, the process involves an Online Test followed by Document Verification and then a Personal Interview. Open category candidates need at least 30% marks in the total score, while backward category candidates need a minimum of 20% to stay in the running.

Responsibilities
- Handle financial planning, budgeting, and accounting operations across MAHAGENCO's thermal and hydro power generation stations
- Manage statutory audits, internal audits, and compliance with government financial regulations
- Prepare and review financial statements, MIS reports, and management accounts
- Oversee taxation matters including GST, income tax, and other statutory filings
- Manage treasury operations, fund management, and banking relationships
- Ensure compliance with Companies Act, MERC regulations, and power sector financial guidelines
- Supervise team of finance professionals and coordinate with cross-functional departments

CA / ICWA Final Passed (for GM, AGM, Sr. Manager, Manager); Inter CA / Inter ICWA / MBA (Finance) / M.Com (for Dy. Manager)
