MAHAGENCO (also known as Mahanirmiti) is one of the largest power generation companies in India and operates several thermal, hydro, and solar power plants across Maharashtra. The Bhusawal Thermal Power Station in Deepnagar, Jalgaon district, is one of its key facilities. Under the Comprehensive Scheme for project-affected persons, MAHAGENCO is now offering apprenticeship training opportunities to candidates whose land was acquired for this power station project.

Who Can Apply?

ITI Apprentice (Fitter, Electrician, Welder)

• Education: 10th pass + ITI certificate in the relevant trade (Fitter/Electrician/Welder) from a recognized institute
• NCVT/MSCVT: Must hold a valid ITI certificate recognized by NCVT or MSCVT

Engineer Graduate Apprentice

• Education: BE/B.Tech degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering from a recognized university

Diploma Engineer Apprentice

• Education: Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering from a recognized polytechnic

Special Eligibility

• This recruitment is exclusively for project-affected candidates whose land was acquired for the Bhusawal Thermal Power Station
• You must have valid land acquisition documents or certificate from the competent authority

Age Limit

• Minimum age: 24 years
• Maximum age: 55 years
• Age relaxation for reserved categories as per Government of Maharashtra norms

Stipend

• ITI Apprentice: Rs. 6,000 per month (1st year), Rs. 6,500 per month (2nd year)
• Graduate Apprentice: Rs. 9,000 per month
• Diploma Apprentice: Rs. 8,000 per month
• Stipend is as per the Apprentices Act, 1961 and MAHAGENCO norms

Selection Process

• Prepare for and pass periodic assessments during the apprenticeship training period
• Monitor equipment performance and report any faults or irregularities to senior staff
