KRCL Account Posts Recruitment 2026 - Walk-in Interview

Konkan Railway Corporation Limited (KRCL), a Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) under the Ministry of Railways, has released notification (Advt No: CO/P-R/2C/2026) for recruitment of Account Assistant, Section Officer, Assistant Account Officer and Deputy General Manager (Accounts) posts. These are fixed-term contract posts for 1 year, which can be extended further. The walk-in interview will be held from 10 to 13 March 2026 at Navi Mumbai.

• Deputy General Manager (Accounts) - 2 posts
• Assistant Account Officer - 1 post
• Section Officer - 4 posts
• Account Assistant - 4 posts

Salary Details (Consolidated, Class A City)

• Deputy General Manager: Rs. 1,10,820 to Rs. 1,26,580 per month
• Assistant Account Officer: Rs. 67,140 to Rs. 76,660 per month
• Section Officer: Rs. 50,060 to Rs. 57,140 per month
• Account Assistant: Rs. 41,380 to Rs. 47,220 per month

Salary varies based on city class (A/B/C). You will also get an annual increment of 4%.

Qualification Needed

• DGM and Assistant Account Officer: CMA (Cost Management Accountant) or CA (Chartered Accountant)
• Section Officer and Account Assistant: B.Com degree

Experience Needed

• Deputy General Manager: 5 years experience
• Section Officer: 7 years experience
• Account Assistant: 3 years experience
• Assistant Account Officer: Freshers can apply (no experience needed)

Age Limit (as on 01 January 2026)

• Deputy General Manager: Maximum 45 years
• Section Officer: Maximum 40 years
• Assistant Account Officer and Account Assistant: Maximum 35 years
• OBC candidates get 3 years age relaxation

Selection Process

Selection will be through walk-in interview only. There is no written exam.

• Account Assistant: 10 March 2026
• Assistant Account Officer: 11 March 2026
• Deputy General Manager: 12 March 2026
• Section Officer: 13 March 2026

Venue: Executive Club, Konkan Rail Vihar, Near Seawoods Railway Station, Navi Mumbai

Registration Time: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM only.

Important Requirements

• You need to submit an indemnity bond of Rs. 50,000
• A character certificate from a Gazetted Officer is mandatory
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview
