Block Project Manager (Vikas Khand Pariyojna Prabhandak)

  • Qualification: Post-graduation or two-year diploma from a recognised university or institution.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of work experience as a cluster-level management/coordinator in any Central/State/Local body or government-aided NITI Aayog-listed institution in rural development, livelihoods, or related fields.
  • Preferred Experience: Prior experience under CGSRLM "Bihan" programmes is given additional weightage.

Area Coordinator (Kshetriya Samvayak)

  • Qualification: Graduation from a recognised university.
  • Computer: One-year computer diploma or certificate from a recognised institution.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of work experience as a cluster-level management/coordinator in any Central/State/Local body or government-aided institution in rural development, livelihoods, or community-based work.

Accountant (Lekhapal) and Accounts cum MIS Assistant

  • Qualification: B.Com (graduation in Commerce) from a recognised university.
  • Computer: One-year computer diploma or certificate from a recognised institution.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of accounts-related work in any Central/State/Local body or government-aided NITI Aayog-listed institution.
  • Preferred: Tally certificate holders get priority consideration.

Chhattisgarh domicile (mool niwas) is mandatory for all posts. A valid domicile certificate issued by a competent authority must be attached.

Age Limit

  • You should be between 21 and 35 years old as on 01 January 2026.
  • Age Relaxation: As per Chhattisgarh Government general administration rules for SC/ST/OBC and other reserved categories.

Salary

  • Block Project Manager: Rs. 39,875 per month (contractual lump sum)
  • Area Coordinator: Rs. 26,490 per month (contractual lump sum)
  • Accountant (Lekhapal): Rs. 23,350 per month (Pay Level 6, contractual)
  • Accounts cum MIS Assistant: Rs. 23,350 per month (contractual lump sum)
  • These are contractual positions under CG Sanvida Niyukti Niyam 2012. Initial appointment is for 1 year, renewable based on Annual Performance Appraisal (APA).
  • No pension, gratuity, or terminal benefits after contract ends.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is merit-based using a 100-mark scoring system. There is no written exam — marks are assigned based on academic qualifications, experience, and an interview or skill test:

  1. Academic Merit Score: Marks awarded for Post-Graduation/Graduation (35 pts), 12th Class (15-20 pts), and 10th Class (15-20 pts) — based on percentage out of 100.
  2. Relevant Work Experience: 2 marks per completed year of experience, maximum 10 marks. Additional 1 mark per year (max 5 marks) for experience within CGSRLM Bihan programmes specifically.
  3. Interview / Skill Test: 15 marks (for Block Project Manager and Area Coordinator) or 10 marks Skill Test (for Accountant and MIS Assistant posts).
  4. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates must appear with all original documents at the notified date and time.

If equal marks are scored by two candidates, the older candidate gets priority. If 10 or more applications are received per post, 10 candidates per post are called for interview/skill test (1:10 ratio). Up to 5 candidates may be kept on a waiting list for 1 year.

Responsibilities

  • Implement rural livelihood activities and self-help group (SHG) programmes at the block and cluster level
  • Coordinate with village-level community institutions, SHGs, and cluster-level federations for project activities
  • Maintain financial records, accounts, and MIS data for all block-level SRLM Bihan activities
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly progress reports and submit to district and state mission offices
  • Facilitate training programmes for SHG members on livelihoods, credit linkages, and financial inclusion
  • Monitor field activities and ensure compliance with NRLM guidelines and Chhattisgarh state mission directives
  • Assist in community mobilisation, household enrolment in SHGs, and strengthening of community-based institutions
