Kerala Public Service Commission (Kerala PSC) Electrician Recruitment 2026 - 3 Posts

The Kerala Public Service Commission (Kerala PSC) has released Category No. 089/2026 to fill 3 Electrician posts at the Kerala State Film Development Corporation Limited (KSFDC). This is a Direct Recruitment post with a two-year probation period to be completed within a continuous three years. No application fee is required for this post, which makes it easier for candidates from all backgrounds to apply.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Candidates without the Diploma may also be considered if they hold an equivalent trade certificate along with relevant experience — check the official notification for the exact alternate route.
• Experience Certificate: If you are claiming experience, you must submit a certificate in the prescribed format, duly attested by the controlling officer of your workplace.
• SC/ST candidates who do not have the prescribed experience qualification will still be considered for selection without it.

Age Limit

• You should be between 18 and 40 years old — born between 2 January 1986 and 1 January 2008 (both dates included).
• Age Relaxation: OBC and SC/ST candidates get the usual relaxation, but the upper age limit cannot exceed 50 years for anyone.
• Provisional hands already working at KSFDC get relaxation for their provisional service, up to a maximum of 5 years, within the prescribed age limit.

Salary

• Selected candidates will get a salary of Rs. 19,000 to Rs. 43,600 per month.
• You will also get DA, HRA and other allowances as per Kerala Government rules.

Selection Process

The selection will be done in the following stages:

1. Written/OMR/Online Test: Conducted only if needed for shortlisting, based on your One Time Registration (OTR) profile confirmation.
2. Certificate Verification: Original documents for qualification, age and experience are checked before appointment.

4% of the total fresh vacancies reported are reserved for Differently Abled candidates.

2. Complete your One Time Registration (OTR) if you have not registered already.
3. Log in to your profile and click Apply Now under Category No. 089/2026.
4. Check your profile details carefully and submit the application — no fee payment is needed.
5. Keep a printout or soft copy of your submitted application for future reference.

If you are creating a new profile, upload a photograph taken within the last 6 months, with your name and the date printed legibly at the bottom. This photo stays valid for 10 years from the date of uploading. Candidates with an Aadhaar card must also add it as ID proof in their profile.

Once selected, you will serve a probation period of two years to be completed within a continuous period of three years from your date of appointment.
