Kerala PSC Cath Lab Technician Recruitment 2026

Kerala PSC is hiring 1 Cath Lab Technician Grade II post in the Health Services Department. Kerala PSC Cath Lab Technician Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

Kerala Public Service Commission (Kerala PSC) has released Category No. 29/2026 for direct recruitment to the post of Cath Lab Technician Grade II in Kerala Government Service. This is a Health Services Department post, and the ranked list prepared from this notification will normally stay valid for at least 1 year and up to 3 years, unless a new list is published earlier. You should apply only through the Kerala PSC One Time Registration profile.

Who Can Apply?

Educational Qualification

• Plus Two Science: You must have passed Plus Two (Science) or an equivalent qualification.
• Degree route: You can apply with a Bachelor's degree in Cardio Vascular Technology from an NMC recognised university, a National Institute established by the Government of India, an institution established by the Government of Kerala, or an institution recognised by the National Medical Commission.
• Diploma route: You can also apply with a Diploma in Cardio Vascular Technology conducted by the Director of Medical Education or by a Medical College/institution recognised by the National Medical Commission.
• Cath Lab Technology diploma: A Diploma in Cath Lab Technology conducted by Sree Chithra Tirunal Institute of Medical Science is also accepted.

Experience and Registration

• Experience: You need 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab Technician.
• Where experience must be from: The experience should be from a Central or State Government institution, including Defence hospitals, Railways, ESI hospitals, or autonomous institutions under Central/State Government.
• Registration: You must have valid Kerala Para Medical Council registration.
• Certificate: If you claim experience, keep the experience certificate ready in the format given by Kerala PSC and upload its scanned copy in your profile when required.

Age Limit

• You should be between 18 and 40 years old.
• Only candidates born between 2 January 1986 and 1 January 2008 (both dates included) can apply.
• Age reference: The age range is based on Kerala PSC rules for this 2026 notification.
• Age relaxation: Other Backward Communities and SC/ST candidates get the usual age relaxation as per the General Conditions in Part II of the Gazette notification.

Salary

• The pay scale for Cath Lab Technician Grade II is Rs. 31,100 to Rs. 66,800 per month.
• This is a Kerala Government service pay scale, so selected candidates will also get applicable DA, HRA and other allowances as per Kerala Government rules.
• After joining, the appointed person will be on probation for 2 years on duty within a continuous period of 3 years.

Selection Process

1. Written/OMR/Online Test (if conducted): If Kerala PSC conducts a test, you must submit confirmation through your One Time Registration profile. Only candidates who give confirmation can download the admission ticket.
2. Admission Ticket: The admission ticket will be available during the last 15 days before the test date, if a test is scheduled.
3. Document Verification: You must produce original documents for qualification, experience, age, community and Kerala Para Medical Council registration when Kerala PSC asks for them.
4. Ranked List and Advice: Kerala PSC will advise candidates from the ranked list against reported vacancies while the list is valid.
