Kerala Public Service Commission (Kerala PSC) Ayah Recruitment 2026 - 3 Posts

Kerala Public Service Commission (Kerala PSC) has released a Second NCA (Non-Availability of Candidates) notification for 3 Ayah posts under various government departments in Kerala. This special recruitment drive is reserved for candidates from the LC/AI (Latin Catholic / Anglo Indian) and Dheevara reservation communities, issued because earlier ranked lists ran out of eligible community candidates in these districts. The mother ranked lists for this post were published on 12 February 2024 (Idukki), 10 January 2024 (Kozhikode) and 5 December 2023 (Kannur) under Category No. 21/2021, and a First NCA round (Cat. No. 362/2024 and 365/2024) has already been conducted before this Second NCA notification.

If you are selected, you will be posted in the district you apply for on a revenue-district basis. Transfer to another district is not normally allowed until you complete 5 years of continuous service. You can apply to only one district under this notification — applying to more than one district can lead to your application being rejected and disciplinary action.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You must have passed Standard VII, but you should not hold a graduate degree.
• Experience: You need an Experience Certificate for at least 1 year working as 'Ayah of children', gained from a Government institution or an institution registered under the Societies Registration Act or a local body/grant-in-aid institution, after completing your Standard VII qualification.
• Gender: This post is reserved exclusively for women candidates in every department.
• Community: Only candidates from the LC/AI or Dheevara community (as applicable to the district you apply for) can apply. Applications from other communities will be rejected.

In addition to the qualifications listed above, the Commission also accepts equivalent qualifications recognised by executive orders or standing orders of the Government. Your experience must have been gained after you completed your Standard VII qualification, and all experience certificates must be duly certified by the controlling officer or head of office of the institution where you worked.

Age Limit

• You should be between 18 and 43 years old, born between 2 January 1983 and 1 January 2008 (both dates included).
• Age Relaxation: Further relaxation is available as per General Conditions, but the upper age limit cannot exceed 50 years in any case.

If you get selected and appointed from this ranked list, remember that transfer to another district is not normally allowed until you finish 5 years of continuous service, and if you are appointed in Idukki, Wayanad or Kasaragod districts, working arrangement, deputation and mutual transfer are restricted for at least ten years.

Salary

• Selected candidates will get a salary of Rs. 23,000 to Rs. 50,200 per month.
• You will also get DA, HRA and other allowances as per Kerala Government rules.

Selection Process

The selection will be done in the following stages:

1. Written Test / OMR Test / Online Test: Conducted only if required, based on the number of applications received. You will need to confirm your intent to write the exam through your profile, and admit tickets are issued only to those who confirm.
2. Document Verification: You must produce your original experience certificate, community certificate, age proof and other documents when asked.

Your experience certificate must be in the prescribed format given in the notification and duly certified by the concerned controlling officer or head of office. Fake or bogus certificates can lead to disqualification and legal action, including debarment from applying to the Commission and disciplinary or criminal proceedings under Rule 22 of the Kerala Public Service Commission Rules of Procedure, 1976.

2. Complete your One Time Registration if you have not registered already.
3. Log in to your profile using your User-ID and password.
4. Click 'Apply Now' under the Ayah notification link (Cat.No. 127/2026 for LC/AI, or Cat.No. 128/2026 for Dheevara).
5. Select the district where the vacancy exists for your community and fill in your details.
6. Upload your experience certificate and other required documents.
7. Submit the application and save a printout for your records.
