Kamdhenu University (KU), Gujarat, through its Directorate of Research and Dean PG Studies office, has released a notice for one Junior Research Fellow post under the scheme "Conservation and Improvement of Indigenous Cattle" (BH 0105050075) at the Livestock Research Station, College of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry, Anand. This is a purely contractual position tied to the research scheme — it does not lead to permanent employment, and your engagement can be ended without notice once the project period ends. Candidates with a strong academic record in veterinary or animal science, along with at least one published research paper, are the best fit for this role.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: M.V.Sc in LPM (Livestock Production Management), Animal Nutrition, or Animal Genetics & Breeding.
• Marks: First division or 60% marks (or equivalent OGPA).
• Research: At least one research paper published in a NASS-rated (4.0 or above) journal.

Age Limit

• Maximum 35 years for male candidates.
• Maximum 40 years for female candidates.

Salary

• You will get Rs. 37,000 per month plus HRA in the 1st and 2nd year of the fellowship.
• This goes up to Rs. 42,000 per month plus HRA in the 3rd year.
• No TA/DA is given for attending the interview.

Selection is mainly through a walk-in interview:
