JIPMER Senior Clinical Trial Coordinator Recruitment 2026: Overview

Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) is hiring Senior Clinical Trial Coordinators for an externally funded research study in its Department of Cardiology at Puducherry. The study compares two treatment regimens for people with pulmonary arterial hypertension and includes blinded, randomised and open-label phases. This is a hands-on clinical-research role where you will connect patients, investigators, study data and sponsor monitoring within one trial site.

The project is funded by Johnson and Johnson Private Limited and led at JIPMER by Dr Santhosh Satheesh. Your work will cover the patient journey from counselling and consent through treatment, monitoring and follow-up, while also supporting the quality systems expected in a regulated clinical trial. Clear Tamil and English communication matters because you will explain study information to patients and also record complex clinical information for research teams.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Contract status: This is an externally sponsored project appointment and does not create a claim to a regular JIPMER post.
• Tenure: The engagement is limited to the project and its external funding. The Project Investigator may extend or shorten it depending on project needs and support.
• Relevant experience: JIPMER will count experience in the relevant field that was gained after you completed the essential qualification.
• Shortlisting: Details in your application, CV and supporting proof will determine whether you are shortlisted. JIPMER may use stricter criteria if it receives a very large response.
• Attendance: The interview will be held in person, and no TA or DA will be paid for attending.
