Who Can Apply - Eligibility

Assistant Professor

• PhD in the relevant subject
• Minimum 55% marks in Master's degree
• NET/SLET/SET qualified OR PhD as per UGC regulations 2009
• For Pay Level 11: 4 years of teaching or research experience after PhD
• For Pay Level 12: 8 years of teaching or research experience after PhD

Associate Professor

• PhD in the relevant subject
• Minimum 55% marks in Master's degree
• 8 years of teaching or research experience after PhD
• Published high-quality research work
• Proven contribution to educational innovation

Professor

• PhD in the relevant subject
• Minimum 55% marks in Master's degree
• 10 years of teaching or research experience, including 5 years as Associate Professor
• Published high-quality research contributing to knowledge
• Academic leadership in curriculum design

Age Limit

• Assistant Professor: Maximum 35 years
• Associate Professor: Maximum 45 years
• Professor: Maximum 55 years
• Age counted as on the last date of application (09 March 2026)

Age relaxation:

• SC/ST candidates: 5 years
• OBC candidates: 3 years
• PwD candidates: 10 years

Salary

• Assistant Professor (Level 10): Rs. 57,700 - Rs. 1,82,400 per month
• Assistant Professor (Level 11): Rs. 68,900 - Rs. 2,05,500 per month
• Assistant Professor (Level 12): Rs. 1,01,500 - Rs. 1,67,400 per month
• Associate Professor (Level 13A2): Rs. 1,39,600 - Rs. 2,11,300 per month
• Professor (Level 14A): Rs. 1,59,100 - Rs. 2,20,200 per month
