The Indian Air Force (IAF) has re-opened the application window for Agniveervayu Intake 01/2027 under the Agnipath Scheme. This is a great chance for young men and women who want to serve in the Indian Air Force. The engagement period is 4 years, and up to 25% of Agniveers may get permanent enrollment after completing their service.

Salary and Benefits

As an Agniveervayu, you will get a good monthly salary under the Agnipath Scheme. Here is the year-wise salary breakdown:

Other Benefits:

• Seva Nidhi of approximately Rs. 10.04 Lakh on completion of 4 years

Who Can Apply - Eligibility

For Science Stream:

• Passed 10+2 / Intermediate with Physics, Mathematics and English
• Minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% in English

For Other than Science Stream:

• Passed 10+2 / Intermediate in any stream
• Minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% in English

Other Accepted Qualifications:

• 3-year Engineering Diploma (minimum 55% marks) with 50% in English in Class 10
• 2-year Vocational Course with Physics, Maths and English (minimum 50% aggregate and 50% in English)

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 17.5 years
• Maximum Age: 21 years
• You should be born between 01 January 2006 and 01 July 2009

Other Requirements

• Marital Status: Only unmarried candidates (male and female) can apply
• Height: Minimum 152 cm for both male and female
• Chest (Male): Minimum 77 cm with 5 cm expansion
• Vision: 6/12 correctable to 6/6. No LASIK or PRK surgery allowed
• Tattoo restrictions as per IAF rules

Physical Fitness Test (PFT)

For Male Candidates:

• 1.6 km run in 7 minutes
• 10 push-ups
• 10 sit-ups
• 20 squats

For Female Candidates:

• 1.6 km run in 8 minutes
• 10 sit-ups
• 15 squats

Selection Process

1. Phase-I: Online Test (written exam)
2. Phase-II: Document Verification + Physical Fitness Test + Adaptability Tests
3. Phase-III: Medical Examination

Rs. 550 + 18% GST = approximately Rs. 649. Pay the fee online.
