IITGN CCL Project Associate II Physics Recruitment 2026: Overview

Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IITGN) is hiring a Project Associate II in Physics for its Center for Creative Learning (CCL). The opening comes through the institute's Research and Development Office under the 30-30 Eklavya 2024-26 project, led by Prof. Manish Jain. It is a project-based contract role, not a regular staff or faculty post.

The work is about school science education, not lab research. You will take Grade 9-12 Physics topics and turn them into hands-on models, experiments and activities, then test them with real students and teachers. If you enjoy teaching Physics with your hands as much as with a blackboard, this role is a close fit.

CCL is looking for a self-driven and creative Physics educator or researcher. People who have taught Physics in Classes 11-12, at UG/PG level, in CBSE, ICSE, IB or IGCSE schools, or for JEE and other competitive exams will find their experience useful here. So will anyone who has built tinkering setups, run physical experiments or designed worksheets, videos and chapters.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Tenure: The appointment runs for one year and can be extended based on your performance.
• Norms: Eligibility follows IIT Gandhinagar institute norms, not funding-agency norms.
• Pay band: The consolidated monthly pay is fixed within the advertised band according to your qualification and experience. No house rent allowance is offered for this post.
• Languages: You need professional fluency in spoken and written English along with spoken Hindi.
• Work locations: Sessions, workshops and demonstrations take place at CCL, IIT Gandhinagar and at external locations, and the modules are piloted inside schools.
