Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: A Bachelor's degree (graduation) in any stream from a UGC-recognised university, or an equivalent qualification recognised by the government.
• Computer Knowledge: You must have basic computer knowledge as per Gujarat Government rules. This can be a computer certificate or diploma, or computer studied as a subject in your degree or in Class 10 or 12. Candidates without this proof can still apply, but they must pass a basic computer test before joining.
• Language: You must know Gujarati or Hindi (or both).
• Nationality: You must be a citizen of India (or hold nationality as allowed under the Gujarat recruitment rules).

Age Limit

• You must be between 20 and 35 years old as on 9 July 2026.
• Age Relaxation: Reserved category candidates (SC, ST, SEBC, EWS) get 5 years relaxation. In no case can the upper age cross 45 years.

Salary

• The post is in Pay Matrix Level-2 (Rs. 19,900 - Rs. 63,200) under the 7th Pay Commission.
• For the first 5 years you will get a fixed pay of Rs. 26,000 per month. After that, you move to the regular Level-2 pay scale along with the usual government allowances.
• Once you complete the fixed-pay period and your service is found satisfactory, you get Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance and other benefits as per Gujarat government rules.

• Payment mode: Online only. Fee paid by cash, demand draft or postal order will not be accepted, and the fee is not refundable.

Selection Process

The selection is done in two written stages, followed by document checking:

1. Preliminary Exam (Screening): A 100-mark objective MCQ test of 60 minutes with 0.25 negative marking. This is only for screening, so these marks are not added to your final merit.
2. Main Exam (Descriptive): A 100-mark written paper. Candidates up to 10 times the category-wise posts are called for this stage after the prelim. The final merit list is prepared from the Main exam marks.
3. Document Verification.

You need at least 40% marks to qualify in each exam. The Preliminary exam may be held in multiple sessions, and if so, your marks will be adjusted using a normalisation method before the merit list and cut-off are decided. See the Exam Pattern section below for the full subject-wise breakdown.

How to Apply

1. Go to the IITE portal at iite.ac.in and open the recruitment link (apply at regularrecruitment.iite.ac.in).
2. Fill in the online application form with correct details.
3. Pay the fee online and take a screenshot of the payment.
4. Upload the payment screenshot and submit the form.
5. Save a printout of your submitted form and keep the confirmation email.

Do not submit more than one application - a duplicate form with fee will not be refunded. Apply before 11.55 PM on 9 July 2026. Keep the mobile number and email ID you enter active until the whole process is over, because IITE sends exam and admit card updates by email.
