Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad (IIT ISM Dhanbad) is hiring a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for the ANRF-ECRG sponsored project "π-DUST: Physics-Informed Data-driven Modeling and Uncertainty Quantification with application to Structural Twins" in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. The project is led by Dr. Suparno Bhattacharyya and combines computational mechanics, artificial intelligence and digital-twin technology, with collaborators from Texas A&M University and Penn State University. Candidates comfortable with Python programming, structural dynamics or finite-element tools such as ANSYS Fluent, COMSOL Multiphysics and MATLAB will find the work particularly suited to their background, and prior AI/ML research experience in structural systems counts as a strong plus.
