IIT Indore Project Executive Global Engagement Recruitment 2026: Overview

Indian Institute of Technology Indore (IIT Indore) wants a Project Executive – Global Engagement for its International Relations Office. This contractual role sits at the centre of the institute's work with foreign universities: MoUs, joint research, student and faculty exchanges, and visiting delegations.

It is a senior, experience-heavy post. The notice asks for several years of international relations work, part of it at a supervisory level, so it is not meant for freshers. The best fit is someone who already knows how academics, research and innovation in higher education work and has built global networks. Experience at a Centrally Funded Technical Institute, a central government office, an autonomous body or a PSU is preferred.

Day to day, the job mixes diplomacy with desk work. You will coordinate agreements and meetings with partner universities, and you will also run video conferences, draft replies to the Ministry and keep the institute's website and social media up to date. A PhD in Engineering, Sciences, Management, Law, IPR or a related field is a plus, as is a background in legal matters and R&D activities linked to international affairs.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Contract: The post is contractual and starts with one year. It may be extended after a performance review.
• Pay depends on your profile: Your consolidated pay within the notified range is fixed based on your qualifications and experience.
• Place of posting: You will normally work at IIT Indore, Simrol campus, but the notice also allows posting to "any other" place.
• Supervisory experience: At least half of the required experience must be at a supervisory or equivalent level.
• Nationality: Only Indian nationals can apply.

• Manage global engagement activities and coordinate with international universities and institutions
