The Research and Development Section of IIT Guwahati has released a notification for 7 posts under the sponsored project "Design and Development of AI/ML Co-Processor and Post Quantum Cryptography Co-Processor (An Initiative towards Electronics System Design and Manufacturing in North-East Region)" in the Department of Electronics and Electrical Engineering. Who Can Apply?

For Project Scientist (Rs. 68,450/month):

• Ph.D. in VLSI/Microelectronics/CS, OR
• M.Tech/ME in VLSI/Microelectronics/CS with 2 years of relevant experience, OR
• B.Tech/BE in EC/EE/CS with 4 years of relevant experience.

For Assistant Project Engineer (Rs. 35,450/month):

• Bachelor's degree in EC/EE/CS with a background in RTL Design/Data Verification, OR DFT/Synthesis, OR Physical Design, Signoff, Analog.

For Lab Assistant (Rs. 25,250/month):

• B.Sc. with 65% marks or 7 CGPA and above, OR
• Diploma in Engineering and Technology with 65% marks or 7 CGPA and above, preferably with a minimum of 2 years' experience.

For Scientific Administrative Assistant (Rs. 22,850/month):

• M.Sc./B.Sc. in Electronics/CSE/IT, OR
• Diploma in Engineering and Technology, preferably with a minimum of 1 year of work experience.

Salary

• Project Scientist: Rs. 56,000 basic + Rs. 11,200 HRA + Rs. 1,250 medical = Rs. 68,450 per month.
• Assistant Project Engineer: Rs. 28,500 basic + Rs. 5,700 HRA + Rs. 1,250 medical = Rs. 35,450 per month.
• Lab Assistant: Rs. 20,000 basic + Rs. 4,000 HRA + Rs. 1,250 medical = Rs. 25,250 per month.
• Scientific Administrative Assistant: Rs. 18,000 basic + Rs. 3,600 HRA + Rs. 1,250 medical = Rs. 22,850 per month.
• All appointments are for 11 months, and basic pay may be revised based on your interview performance and relevant experience.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

There is no written test — selection for all 4 posts is based on an interview:

3. Final Selection: The selection committee will decide on suitable candidates based on interview performance.
