International Institute for Population Sciences (IIPS) Recruitment 2026 - 2 Posts
International Institute for Population Sciences (IIPS), Mumbai, a Deemed University, has invited applications for 2 posts under its GEH (Gender and Health) Project. The project aims to generate high-quality evidence on gender and health outcomes through advanced analysis of nationally representative datasets, working with international partners including the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF). IIPS needs one Junior Research Scientist and one Administrative & Programmatic Supportive Staff member to support this ongoing research.
Both posts are filled through a single walk-in interview — there is no online application form and no written test, which makes the process faster than most government recruitments. The initial appointment for both roles is for 11 months, extendable based on performance and continued project funding, and it ends automatically when the project or the appointment period is over, whichever comes first. Selected candidates will report to the faculty coordinators of the GEH Project at IIPS.
If you're unsure which post fits you, the Junior Research Scientist role is meant for someone with an advanced research background and a completed Ph.D., while the Administrative & Programmatic Supportive Staff role suits candidates who have finished school and gained relevant office experience. Both selected candidates will work together on the same GEH Project team at IIPS, supporting evidence generation on gender and health outcomes.
