International Institute for Population Sciences (IIPS), a deemed-to-be university based in Mumbai, is recruiting for its Global Adult Tobacco Survey (GATS-3) — a nationwide survey sponsored and funded by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. Posts and Disciplines

• Chief Research Officer (CRO): the senior technical role on the project. You will plan and execute the survey, manage field implementation and data collection, run the statistical analysis, coordinate with government and institutional stakeholders, and prepare technical reports for the Technical Advisory and Monitoring Committee (TAMC) under the guidance of the Principal Investigator(s). Prior experience in tobacco-related research, technical report writing or monitoring-and-evaluation work is an added advantage.
• Project Associate: supports all office administration for the GATS-3 project. You will handle correspondence, records and coordination work, and you must be willing to travel for outdoor duties whenever the project requires it. Familiarity with office automation tools is preferred.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Tenure: Both posts are purely temporary. The initial appointment runs for three months and may be extended based on your performance.
• Selection basis: There is no written exam — the walk-in interview and document verification together decide selection.
• Relaxation clause: IIPS reserves the right to relax the qualification and experience criteria in deserving cases.
