IIPS Accountant Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

International Institute for Population Sciences (IIPS), an autonomous institute under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, has released a notification for 1 Accountant post in its Finance and Accounts Section. Unlike some of the other PSC-Accounts vacancies advertised this month, this post is engaged as per requirement or until a regular appointment is made, making it a good entry point for candidates with government accounting experience.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: B.Com (as per Recruitment Rules)
• Experience: At least 3 years of experience in an Accounts Branch in a Government department or other reputed organization
• Preference will be given to candidates with experience in an educational or research institute.
• Mandatory skill: Working knowledge of Tally ERP or SAP is compulsory.

You will report to the Assistant Finance Officer / Junior Accounts Officer and handle the day-to-day expenditure and tax compliance work of the section. If you have solid GST/TDS filing experience and want to work in a stable institutional setup, this role is worth applying for.

Age Limit

• You should be below 30 years of age (as per Recruitment Rules) to apply for this post.

Salary

• Selected candidates will get a salary of Rs. 45,000 per month.
• The period of engagement is as per requirement, or till a regular appointment is made for this post.
• You will be entitled to 2.5 days of leave for every completed month of service.

Selection Process

IIPS will select candidates through the following steps:
