Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIMK), one of India's premier business schools established in 1996, has invited online applications for the post of Junior Accounting Assistant on a contract basis under Notification No. C-25/2026-IIMK.HR. The posting can be at the Main Campus in Kozhikode, the Kochi Campus, or any other location as per the Institute's requirement. This is a good opportunity for commerce graduates and CA aspirants to work in the finance and accounts section of a nationally recognized institution.

Who Can Apply?

• Option 1: You must have passed CA Intermediate (First Group) with completed articleship.
• Option 2: You must hold a B.Com degree with at least 3 years of relevant work experience in accounting or finance.

Preference may be given to candidates with hands-on experience in accounting software such as Tally, SAP, or similar ERP systems.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 40 years as on the date of notification.
• Age Relaxation: Usual relaxations for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen as per Government of India norms.

Salary

• You will receive a consolidated salary of Rs. 24,300 per month.
• This includes a telephone allowance of Rs. 300 per month.
• Being a contract position at a premier IIM, you also gain valuable experience working in a top academic institution's finance department.

Selection Process

Selection will be based on the following stages:

• Handle day-to-day accounting entries and maintain financial records
• Prepare vouchers, bills, and payment statements accurately
• Assist in reconciliation of bank statements and ledger accounts
• Manage purchase orders, vendor invoices, and payment processing
• Support the accounts team during internal and external audits
• Maintain proper documentation of all financial transactions
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
