IIM Udaipur Deputy Lead Program Support Recruitment 2026

The Indian Institute of Management Udaipur (IIM Udaipur), through its Centre for Healthcare, is recruiting for the EQUIP-HWCs (Equitable, Quality Universal health coverage Implementation research Project for optimizing comprehensive primary health care through Health and Wellness Centres) project. This is a national health priority project funded by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and the Gates Foundation, run in collaboration with Basic Healthcare Services and the Salumber district health department. The post is field-based and focused on strengthening Ayushman Arogya Mandirs (AAMs) to deliver 12 comprehensive primary healthcare services. Public health professionals with experience in tribal area implementation research are preferred.

Educational Qualification

• Professionals with a Master's in Public Health (MPH) or Master's in Healthcare Management

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in implementing community-based health programmes (desired)

Essential Attributes

• Good understanding of the public health system and national health programs
• Willingness to stay at the Salumber district field area in Rajasthan for the entire project duration
• Good command over English and Hindi

Desired Attributes

• Experience in intervention / implementation research / health systems research in tribal areas
• Excellent written and communication skills, interpersonal skills, organisational and networking skills
• Prior experience of people management

Salary

• Consolidated remuneration starts at Rs. 45,000 per month
• The actual salary will be commensurate with your qualification and relevant experience
• This is a 16-month fixed-term contract (or until the end of the project, whichever is earlier)

• Facilitate focus group discussions, stakeholder meetings, training sessions and community outreach activities
• Provide guidance, mentorship and supportive supervision to the Technical Officers
• Monitor baseline and endline data collection across all six blocks of Salumber district
• Prepare regular reports for the Lead-Program Support, Investigators and district health officials
• Maintain records of program activities, attendance, reports and resources
