IIM Mumbai Non-Teaching Recruitment 2026 - 11 Posts

Indian Institute of Management Mumbai (IIM Mumbai) has released Advertisement No. Admn/Rectt/2026/20 dated 19 June 2026 for administrative, IT, systems, executive education, MEP, and assistant-level posts. The recruitment includes Deputy General Manager, Manager, Assistant Manager, and Assistant roles, and the online window is open from 19 June 2026 to 9 July 2026. All posts need a full 24x7 commitment to the Institute, so you should apply only if you can work in a campus-based institutional role.

The initial appointment may be on tenure/deputation for up to 5 years, with annual extension depending on Institute requirements. IIM Mumbai has also stated that it may use a written test, skill test, interview, or any other selection method for shortlisted candidates. Who Can Apply?

Deputy General Manager (System & Software)

• Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science or Electronics/Electrical/Communication Engineering with computer specialization, or MCA/M.Sc. Computer Science, with at least 60% marks.
• Experience: Minimum 10 years post-qualification experience in large-scale networks, hardware, software, internet, email, websites, ERP, and related services, including team management.
• Lower-level experience: At least 3 years in Pay Level 11 or 5 years in Pay Level 10 or equivalent.

Manager Posts

• Manager (CDS): MBA/PGDM or equivalent management qualification with 60% marks and minimum 10 years relevant administrative experience.
• Manager (Executive Education): Postgraduate degree or MBA/PGDBM with 60% marks and minimum 10 years experience in executive education, programme management, corporate training, consultancy, or higher education administration.
• Manager (Networking & Hardware): B.E./B.Tech in Computer/IT/ECE or MCA/M.Sc. Computer Science with 60% marks and minimum 10 years relevant administrative experience.

Assistant Manager and Assistant Posts

• Assistant Manager (IT/System Analyst): B.E./B.Tech/MCA/M.Sc. with 55% marks and 2 years experience, or Diploma in Computer Science with 60% marks and 5 years experience.
• Assistant Manager (MEP): Engineering degree in MEP with 55% marks and 2 years experience, or 3-year engineering diploma in MEP with 60% marks and 4 years experience.
• Assistant: Graduate with 55% marks and minimum 4 years relevant office or clerical experience in Pay Level 04 or equivalent.

Age Limit

• Deputy General Manager and Manager posts: Preferably below 45 years.
• Assistant Manager and Assistant posts: Preferably below 35 years.
• Age reference date: The crucial date for age and eligibility is the closing date, 9 July 2026.
• Age relaxation: Relaxation for SC, ST, OBC, PwD, and Ex-serviceman candidates will be as per existing rules.

Salary

• Deputy General Manager: Pay Level 12, Rs. 78,800 to Rs. 2,09,200 per month.
• Manager posts: Pay Level 10, Rs. 56,100 to Rs. 1,77,500 per month.
• Assistant Manager and Assistant posts: Pay Level 6, Rs. 35,400 to Rs. 1,12,400 per month.
• Selected candidates may also get allowances and campus accommodation as per Institute rules. Electricity and water charges for accommodation will be paid as actuals.

Application Fee

• General / OBC / other non-exempt categories: Rs. 590
• SC / ST / PwD: No fee
• If you apply for more than one position, you need to fill a separate application and pay a separate fee for each post.

Selection Process

IIM Mumbai may conduct selection in the following stages for shortlisted candidates:

1. Screening: The Screening Committee will shortlist applications based on qualification, experience, and criteria decided by the Institute.
2. Written Test and/or Skill Test: The Institute may conduct a test if it is needed for the post. The detailed pattern is not given in the notice.
3. Interview: Shortlisted candidates may be called for interview.
4. Document Verification: Original certificates for education, professional qualification, work experience, age, category, NOC, and other claims will be checked.

The Institute may restrict the number of candidates for written test or interview to five or fewer. Mere meeting the minimum qualification does not guarantee a test or interview call.
