Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA) Principal Researcher Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post
The Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA), an autonomous institution under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, has released a vacancy circular for 1 Principal Researcher post at its Centre for Insolvency and Bankruptcy. There is no written exam for this post — IICA will screen applications and call shortlisted candidates for a presentation and/or interview. The role suits experienced academics, researchers, or senior industry professionals working in insolvency and bankruptcy law and policy.
IICA was set up as an autonomous body registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860, by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs. It trains Indian Corporate Law Service (ICLS) Group 'A' officers along with public and private sector board members and executives through five schools and eleven centres, from its 14-acre campus in Manesar, which has residential blocks, hostel facilities, a library, and an in-house auditorium. The Centre for Insolvency and Bankruptcy runs a two-year Graduate Insolvency Programme (GIP), started in 2019, and needs a Principal Researcher to design courses, study regulatory and compliance gaps, and connect with insolvency researchers, policymakers, and implementers.
As the Principal Researcher, you will play a central role in shaping how the Centre engages with the insolvency and bankruptcy ecosystem — from designing and quality-checking training courses to preparing policy notes that support IICA's institutional decisions. This is a good opportunity for a senior academic or industry expert who wants to influence insolvency policy and professional education at the national level, rather than a routine desk job.
