ICAR-National Bureau of Soil Survey and Land Use Planning (ICAR-NBSS&LUP), Nagpur has released a notification for 1 Project Associate post under the Rabi Fallow of Gondia District Project. This is a purely temporary, project-based role that runs up to 31 March 2027. The work involves field soil survey, GIS-based mapping and geo-database management. Selection is through a walk-in interview — no separate written exam.

Who Can Apply?

Educational Qualification

• Essential: Master's degree in Soil Science or Geography.

Desirable

• Aptitude for soil analysis in physical and chemical laboratories and soil survey.
• At least one year experience in Remote Sensing, GIS and mapping of land resources.

Age Limit

• You should be between 21 and 45 years old.
• Age Relaxation: Available for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per government rules.

Salary

• You will get a fixed salary of Rs. 35,000 per month.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
