Indian Bureau of Mines (IBM) Principal Private Secretary Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

Indian Bureau of Mines (IBM), a subordinate office under the Ministry of Mines, Government of India, has released a circular to fill 1 post of Principal Private Secretary at its Nagpur headquarters. IBM is the country's premier organisation responsible for the scientific and systematic exploration and development of mineral resources, and the Principal Private Secretary plays a key role in supporting its senior administration. This is a deputation vacancy, which means only serving central government, state government, or Union Territory officers in the eligible feeder grade can apply. There is no written exam for this post — selection is based entirely on your service record and experience. Officers currently working as Private Secretary or in an equivalent Level 9 post are encouraged to apply through their department. This is a good opportunity for experienced stenographers and personal staff officers to work closely with the top administration of a central government mining regulator.

Who Can Apply?

  • Qualification: Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University or Institute.
  • Service Eligibility: You must have 4 years of regular service in the Level 9 pay matrix (Rs. 53,100-1,67,800) grade, or an equivalent grade, in the feeder cadre.
