Desirable Qualification

• Knowledge of customs, manners, and dialects of Himachal Pradesh is desirable.
• Suitability for work in the conditions of Himachal Pradesh is also mentioned in the notice.

Age Limit

• You should be between 18 and 45 years old.
• Age will be counted as on 1 January 2026.
• Relaxation: Five years relaxation is available only to eligible Himachal Pradesh reserved categories where applicable under the rules in the notice.
• H.P. Government employees and Ex-Servicemen of H.P. get age relaxation as per Government instructions.

Salary

• The fixed amount for this Job Trainee post is Rs. 28,000 per month.

Selection Process

HPPSC will select candidates through the screening test / subject aptitude test route followed by a Personality Test, depending on the number of applicants. If the number of applicants is very small, HPPSC may directly call them for Personality Test as per the selection rules in the advertisement.

1. Paper-I Screening Test: Computer Based Test or offline objective test of 100 marks for 1 hour.
2. Paper-II Subject Aptitude Test: Descriptive test of 120 marks for 3 hours.
3. Personality Test: Conducted after the written stage as per HPPSC rules.
4. Document Verification: Original certificates must be produced when called by the Commission.

The notice lists Shimla as the examination station. HPPSC may change centres depending on administrative needs, and for CBT it may allot centres based on the availability of computer labs in Himachal Pradesh. No admit card will be sent by post, so you must download the e-admit card from the Commission website when it is released.

Upload your Matriculation certificate for age proof, degree certificates and mark sheets, experience certificates, and category documents if you claim any benefit.
