Desirable Qualification

- Knowledge of customs, manners, and dialects of Himachal Pradesh is desirable.
- Suitability for work in the conditions of Himachal Pradesh is also mentioned in the notice.
Age Limit
- You should be between 18 and 45 years old.
- Age will be counted as on 1 January 2026.
- Relaxation: Five years relaxation is available only to eligible Himachal Pradesh reserved categories where applicable under the rules in the notice.

Selection Process

- Paper-I Screening Test: Computer Based Test or offline objective test of 100 marks for 1 hour.
- Paper-II Subject Aptitude Test: Descriptive test of 120 marks for 3 hours.
- Personality Test: Conducted after the written stage as per HPPSC rules.
- Document Verification: Original certificates must be produced when called by the Commission.
