Who Can Apply?

Para Pump Operator

• You must have passed Matriculation (10th) with an ITI certificate in Electrician, Wireman, Diesel Mechanic, Pump Mechanic, Motor Mechanic, or Pump Operator-cum-Mechanic from a recognised ITI, OR 10th pass with a certificate in these trades under a Government Skill Development Scheme.

Para Fitter

• You must have passed Matriculation (10th) with an ITI certificate in Fitter or Plumber trade from a recognised ITI/Institute, OR 10th pass with a certificate in these trades under a Government Skill Development Scheme.

Multipurpose Worker

• You must have passed Middle standard (8th) or its equivalent, recognised by the State or Central Government. You must attach the detailed 8th class marks sheet.

Other Requirements

• You must be a Himachal Pradesh bonafide (domicile) candidate.
• A Character Certificate issued by a 1st Class Magistrate is required.

Age Limit

• You should be between 18 and 45 years old for all three posts.

Salary

• Para Pump Operator: Rs. 7,100 per month (honorarium)
• Para Fitter: Rs. 7,100 per month (honorarium)
• Multipurpose Worker: Rs. 6,000 per month (honorarium)
• These are part-time posts of 6 working hours per day under the para worker policy.

Application Fee

Selection Process

Selection is based on marks and tests. There is no written exam.

1. Merit (marks in qualifying exam): For Para Pump Operator and Para Fitter, your percentage in matriculation is counted out of 5 marks (for example, 50% in matric gives 2.5 marks). For Multipurpose Worker, your 8th class percentage is counted out of 6 marks.
2. BPL weightage: 1 mark for BPL family with annual income as prescribed (only for Para Fitter and Para Pump Operator).
3. Experience: 2 marks for experience in IPH/HPPWD/CPPWD/PSUs or an outsourcing agency serving HP Jal Shakti Vibhag (half mark for every completed six months). For MPW, 2 marks for at least 6 months of relevant experience.
4. Skill Test and Physical Test: 2 marks. Para Pump Operator and Para Fitter face a skill test and physical test; Multipurpose Worker faces a physical test.

The date for the skill/physical test will be announced separately through a newspaper notice.
