Who Can Apply?
Scientific Officer (B) - 1 Post (Pay Level 8, Rs. 96,200):
- You need a full-time Master's degree in Science (Physics/Applied Physics/Astrophysics/Electronics/Computer Science or equivalent) with 60% marks, OR a full-time B.E./B.Tech degree with 60% marks in a related engineering discipline.
- You must have at least 1 year of post-qualification work experience in teaching, research, or science outreach.
- Desirable: strong background in Astrophysics, knowledge of Linux, Python/FORTRAN and LaTeX.
Scientific Assistant (B) - 2 Posts (Pay Level 6, Rs. 73,020):
- You need a full-time B.Sc./B.S. in Physics (or Physics/Applied Physics for the unreserved post) with 60% marks.
- 0-2 years of experience in educational content development, teaching, or education technology is preferred; fresh graduates can also apply for the unreserved post.
- Basic knowledge of computers and their applications is required.
Assistant Security Officer (A) - 1 Post (Pay Level 6, Rs. 73,020):
- You need to be a graduate with 55% marks and hold an NCC 'C' Certificate or an Advanced Civil Defence Course Certificate.
- You must have 5 years of security experience at Level 5 or above in a large, reputed organization.
- Ex-servicemen, military personnel and CAPF candidates with JCO rank (or 3 years as NCO) can also apply under relaxed criteria.
Work Assistant (Auxiliary) - 1 Post (Pay Level 1, Rs. 36,360):
- You need to have passed 10th (S.S.C.) or equivalent from a Central/State board.

Salary

Physical Standards (Assistant Security Officer post only)
For Male Candidates:
- Height: at least 165 cm; Chest: 80-85 cm
- Eyesight: 6/6 vision, naked eye vision 6/9 in both eyes, with colour recognition
- Running: 100 metres in 16 seconds and 1.6 km in 6.30 minutes
- Shot Put: 7.26 kg to 4.5 metres
For Female Candidates:
- Height: at least 157 cm
- Eyesight: 6/6 vision, naked eye vision 6/9 in both eyes, with colour recognition
- Running: 100 metres in 18 seconds and 1.6 km in 8.30 minutes
