The Office of the District Women and Child Welfare and Empowerment Officer, Guntur, under the Department of Women Development and Child Welfare, Government of Andhra Pradesh, has released Notification No. RC.No.61/A1/2026 dated 14 July 2026 inviting applications for 3 posts spread across the District Child Protection Unit (DCPU), Children Home, and Juvenile Justice Board (JJB), all located in Guntur. These posts are reserved exclusively for women candidates and are on a contract/part-time basis for an initial period of one year, subject to performance and continuation of the scheme. If you hold a graduate degree in social work or psychology, a physical education qualification, or are 12th pass with a computer diploma, one of these three roles could be the right fit for you. Who Can Apply?

Counsellor (Women):

• Graduate in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Public Health, or Counselling from a recognized university, OR a PG Diploma in Counselling and Communication.

PT Instructor cum Yoga Teacher (Women):

• Degree or Diploma in Physical Educational Training.

Data Entry Operator (Women):

• 12th pass from a recognized board or equivalent, along with a Diploma or Certificate in Computers.

Common Eligibility for All Posts:

• Domicile: You must be a resident of Guntur district and hold a valid domicile certificate.
• Gender: Only women candidates can apply for these posts.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

There is no written exam for these posts. Selection is done in the following stages:

1. Shortlisting: Applications are screened based on merit and relevant experience.
