Following the Allahabad High Court circular no. 14/Admin 'D' Section dated 15 October 2022 on re-appointment of retired district court staff, the office of the District Judge, Gorakhpur is re-engaging one retired Group C employee to help the court run smoothly. If you are a retired court employee and are willing to work in outside (external) courts as well, you can apply.

Who Can Apply?

• You must be a retired Group C (Third Class) employee of the district court.
• Your age must be below 65 years.
• You must be willing to work in external (outside) courts as well.

• You must be below 65 years of age to apply.

Selection Process

Selection is done through an interview:

1. Interview: After the applications are received and reviewed, the court will inform you of the date and place of the interview.

No travel allowance (TA) or any other allowance will be paid for attending the interview.

How to Apply

1. Fill the application in the prescribed format given in the notice.
2. Enter your name, father's name, age (with proof), date of retirement, the court/section you retired from, the post you retired from, your address and mobile number.
3. Sign the declaration confirming that your details are true.
4. Submit the completed application to the office of the District Judge, Gorakhpur on or before 15 July 2026.

• This is a re-engagement of retired staff, not a fresh government job — only people who have already retired from the district court can apply.
• No application fee is mentioned in the notice.
