HQ K & K Sub Area (GPC Cell), Cubbon Road, Bengaluru has released a vacancy notice for Golden Palm Station Canteen, Bengaluru and its Extension Canteens spread across Karnataka - including GPSC Bangalore, GPC Cell Bangalore, GPEC RSAOI, GPEC Sena Vihar, GPEC Whitefield, GPEC Mysore, GPEC Hassan and GPEC KGF. This recruitment is exclusively for Retired Honorary Captains/Lieutenants, JCOs/NCOs and eligible wards/dependents of Ex-Servicemen (ESM) or Serving Personnel - both male and female candidates can apply. Employment will be on a contract basis for 11 months. These Army-run canteens serve service personnel and their families across Karnataka, and the Canteen Officer is inviting a large batch of staff at one go to fill vacancies across accounts, sales, security and support roles.

Who Can Apply?

• Eligibility is restricted to: Retired Honorary Captains/Lieutenants, JCOs/NCOs (Retd) and dependents of Ex-Servicemen (ESM) or Serving Personnel. Both male and female candidates can apply.
• Eligible wards/dependents of ESM must attach a birth certificate supported by a Board of Secondary School Examination Certificate, along with copies of the Pension Payment Order (PPO) and an extract of the Discharge Book containing family details.

Salary

• Monthly honorarium ranges from Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 32,000 depending on the post and canteen, paid on a contract basis.
• The highest honorarium (Rs. 32,000) is for Joint Manager (Accounts) at GPSC Bangalore; the lowest (Rs. 20,000) is for Watchman at GPEC KGF.
• Accounts and management roles (Joint Manager, Assistant Manager) pay between Rs. 24,000 and Rs. 32,000 per month, while support roles (Watchman, Billing Clerk-cum-Salesperson) pay between Rs. 20,000 and Rs. 23,000 per month.
• This is a fixed monthly honorarium, not a regular government pay scale, since the engagement is on contract basis for 11 months.

Selection Process

1. Application Screening: Your Biodata, Resume and supporting documents will be screened by the Canteen Officer.
2. Document Verification: ESM/dependent status, birth certificate, PPO and discharge book details will be checked.
3. Medical Fitness Certificate: Ex-servicemen need a certificate from an ECHS Poly Clinic; civilians need one from a Registered Medical Practitioner.

There is no separate written exam mentioned in the notice - selection is primarily based on document screening, verification of your ESM/dependent status, and medical fitness.
