The Government Medical College and Government Teaching General Hospital (GTGH), Rajamahendravaram has released Combined Notification No.01/2026 dated 07.04.2026 for filling up various vacant posts in East Godavari District on contract and outsourcing basis. This recruitment covers 11 different posts — from healthcare specialists like Child Psychologist and Emergency Medical Technician to technical roles like Computer Programmer and System Administrator. Out of 39 posts, 35 are contract appointments and 4 are on outsourcing basis.

Who Can Apply?

Emergency Medical Technician (25 posts — Rs. 32,670/month)

• You need to have passed Intermediate (12th class) or equivalent
• Plus B.Sc. Emergency Medical Technology / B.Sc. Emergency Medical Services Technology (EMST) from a recognised institution in India, OR B.Sc. with 2-year Advanced Diploma in Emergency Medical Technology (EMT)
• You must be registered with APPMB (Andhra Pradesh Para Medical Board)

Child Psychologist / Clinical Psychologist (1 post each — Rs. 54,060/month)

• M.A. (Psychology) from a recognised university in India
• Plus P.G. Diploma in Child Psychology and Family Relations or M.Ed./B.Ed. (for Child Psychologist)
• Plus PG Diploma in Medical and Social Psychology (for Clinical Psychologist)
• M.Phil (Psychology) / M.Phil in Clinical Psychology is an added qualification

Computer Programmer / Network Administrator / System Administrator (2 + 1 + 1 posts — Rs. 34,580/month)

• B.E./B.Tech in IT/CS/ECE OR MCA OR PG in Computer Science/IT
• Plus minimum 3 years of experience as computer programmer or system administrator in government or private sector

Psychiatric Social Worker (2 posts — Rs. 38,720/month)

• M.A./M.S.W. in Medical Psychiatric Social Work
• M.Phil in Psychiatric Social Work or Ph.D is an added qualification

Physical Education Trainer / Speech Therapist (1 post each — Rs. 40,970/month)

• Physical Education Trainer: Diploma or Degree in Physical Education from a recognised institution
• Speech Therapist: Bachelor's Degree plus Diploma/Certificate in Speech Therapy

Electrical Helper (3 posts — Rs. 15,000/month)

• SSC/10th Class or equivalent from a recognised board
• Plus 1 year experience in electrical work

Mortuary Attendant (1 post — Rs. 15,000/month)

• Must have appeared for SSC/10th Class or equivalent examination from a recognised board

Domicile Requirement

• Candidates who studied from 4th to 10th standard in the Erstwhile East Godavari District are considered local candidates
• Others will be treated as non-local candidates as per Presidential Order

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 42 years (as on the date of notification: 07 April 2026)
• SC / ST / BC / EWS: 5 years relaxation (max age 47 years)
• Ex-Servicemen: 3 years relaxation in addition to length of armed forces service
• Persons with Disabilities (PwBD): 10 years relaxation
• Absolute maximum age (with all relaxations combined): 52 years

Salary

• Child Psychologist / Clinical Psychologist: Rs. 54,060 per month
• Physical Education Trainer / Speech Therapist: Rs. 40,970 per month
• Psychiatric Social Worker: Rs. 38,720 per month
• Emergency Medical Technician: Rs. 32,670 per month
• Computer Programmer / Network Administrator / System Administrator: Rs. 34,580 per month
• Electrical Helper / Mortuary Attendant: Rs. 15,000 per month
• These are fixed monthly remunerations for contract/outsourcing roles

Application Fee

• OC (Open Category / General): Rs. 300
• BC / SC / ST / EWS / Ex-Servicemen / PwBD: Rs. 200
• Payment mode: Demand Draft in favour of "Principal, Government Medical College, Rajamahendravaram"
• If applying for more than one post, you must enclose a separate Demand Draft for each post

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is based on a total of 100 marks:

1. Academic Merit (75 marks): 75% of marks obtained in the qualifying examination across all years
2. Experience Weightage (up to 10 marks): 1 mark per completed year after acquiring the required qualification (counted up to the date of notification)
3. Contract/Outsourcing Service Weightage (up to 15 marks): For candidates currently working on Contract/Outsourcing/Honorarium basis (including COVID-19 service). Weightage varies by work area:
   • Tribal Area: 2.5 marks per six months
   • Rural Area: 2.0 marks per six months
   • Urban Area: 1.0 mark per six months
4. Counseling: Separate counseling conducted for GMC posts and GTGH posts. Candidates must submit separate application forms for each institution

The final merit list will be valid for one year from the date of this notification.

1. Go to eastgodavari.ap.gov.in and download the application proforma (available from 10:00 AM on 15 April 2026)
2. Fill in the application form completely
3. Attach self-attested copies of all required documents
4. Get a Demand Draft for the applicable fee in favour of "Principal, Government Medical College, Rajamahendravaram"
5. Submit the filled application at the specified counters in the office of the Principal / Addl. DME, Government Medical College, Rajamahendravaram before 4:00 PM on 29 April 2026
6. Obtain a dated acknowledgement from the receiving authority
7. Applications by post, courier, or email will NOT be accepted
8. If applying for GMC posts AND GTGH posts, submit separate application forms with separate DDs for each institution

• Handle clinical, technical, or administrative duties as per the assigned post at GMC or GTGH, Rajamahendravaram
• Report to the Principal / Addl. DME (for GMC posts) or Superintendent / Addl. DME (for GTGH posts)
• Stay at the bonafide headquarters of the posting compulsorily if selected
• Follow all government rules and departmental guidelines applicable to contract/outsourcing employees
• Maintain proper records, registers, and documentation relevant to the post
• Assist in providing quality healthcare services to patients at the government hospital or medical college
• Renew appointment annually subject to satisfactory performance and government orders
