Lower Division Clerk - Pay Level 2

  • Qualification: You must have passed 12th Class or an equivalent qualification from a recognised board or university.

  • Key Depression Standard: 35 w.p.m. and 30 w.p.m. correspond to 10500 KDPH and 9000 KDPH respectively.

Upper Division Clerk - Pay Level 4

  • Qualification: You need a degree from a recognised university or an equivalent qualification.
  • Typing: You need typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on computer.

Personal Assistant - Pay Level 6

  • Qualification: You need a minimum three-year bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university or institution.
  • Shorthand: You need 120 words per minute shorthand speed in English or Hindi.
  • Computer Knowledge: You need working knowledge of MS Office and PowerPoint.

Age Limit

  • Lower Division Clerk: 18 to 27 years.
  • Assistant: Not exceeding 30 years.
  • Upper Division Clerk: Not exceeding 30 years.
  • Personal Assistant: Not exceeding 30 years.
  • Age reference date: The closing date of online registration, 3 July 2026.
  • Age Relaxation: Relaxation for SC, ST, OBC, PwBD, ex-servicemen and other eligible categories will be as per the CRE-5 rules and Government of India rules.

Salary

  • Lower Division Clerk: Pay Level 2, approximately Rs. 19,900 to Rs. 63,200 per month.
  • Upper Division Clerk: Pay Level 4, approximately Rs. 25,500 to Rs. 81,100 per month.
  • Assistant and Personal Assistant: Pay Level 6, approximately Rs. 35,400 to Rs. 1,12,400 per month.
  • You will also get DA, HRA and other allowances as per Government of India and institute rules.

Application Fee

  • General / OBC: Rs. 3,000 per group.
  • SC / ST / EWS: Rs. 2,400 per group.

Selection Process

The selection has two main stages for these posts. Stage I is the Computer Based Test. Stage II is the applicable skill test for the post group.

  1. Computer Based Test: 100 MCQs for 400 marks in 90 minutes. There are 20 MCQs on General Knowledge, Aptitude and Computer Knowledge, and 80 MCQs from the domain part of the group.
  2. Negative Marking: 1/4 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. Qualifying marks are 40% for UR/EWS, 35% for OBC and 30% for SC/ST/PwBD.
  3. Assistant Skill Test: Computer-based skill test for 50 marks with noting and drafting for 30 marks and precise writing for 20 marks. Minimum qualifying marks are 17.
  4. LDC/UDC Typing Skill Test: English typing at 35 w.p.m. or Hindi typing at 30 w.p.m. on computer. The typing test is qualifying in nature.
  5. Personal Assistant Stenography Test: Dictation in English or Hindi as per the Personal Assistant skill-test scheme, followed by computer transcription.
  6. Document Verification: Qualified candidates will be considered as per post eligibility, preferences, documents and institute rules.
