Selection Process (No Written Exam)

  1. Eligibility Check: Applications and certificates will be checked first.
  2. Academic Merit: Up to 75 marks are based on qualifying degree marks. PG Degree/DNB gets 75% weightage, while PG Diploma gets 65% weightage.
  3. Passing-Year Weightage: Up to 10 marks are given at 1 mark per year after completion of the qualifying exam.
  4. Government Contract Service: Up to 15 marks can be given for eligible contract service, including COVID-19 duty weightage where documents are submitted.

Service weightage matters: If you have worked in government institutions on contract basis, keep the correct service certificate ready. The notice gives different weightage for tribal, rural, urban, and COVID-19 duty, and the certificate must come from the competent authority such as DM&HO, DCHS, Medical Superintendent, or the appointing authority. Missing certificates can reduce your merit score, so check every document before attending the walk-in.

Posting and duty note: Selected doctors can be posted to any notified medical institution based on department requirement. The notice also says selected doctors should stay at their bonafide headquarters, so treat this as a regular hospital duty role even though the appointment is on contract.
