GMC Khammam Multi-Post Recruitment 2026: Overview

Government Medical College, Khammam (GMC Khammam), which works under the Government of Telangana, is filling 17 different posts on an outsourcing basis for its college and attached hospital. Posts and Disciplines

Post-wise Duties

Lab Attendant and Museum Assistant cum Artist

Lab Attendants support the college laboratories, while the Museum Assistant handles the central photographic and audiovisual work. Both need registration with the Telangana Para Medical Board.

Trade and Support Posts

Carpenters, Plumbers, Electricians and Tailors keep the campus running with ITI-trained trade skills. Barbers and Dhobis serve the wards and must read and write Telugu, while MNO/FNO staff help patients at the bedside with first-aid training.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Local cadre only: The posts are organised into District and Zonal cadres under G.O.Ms.No.177 of 2021, so only candidates belonging to the local cadre can apply.
• Tenure: Outsourcing engagement for one year or till further orders.
• Merit formula: Marks in your qualifying exam carry 90 marks, and age carries up to 10 marks — 0.5 mark for each completed year above 18.
• Reservation: Selection follows the rule of reservation and the Presidential Order 2018.
• SC sub-classification: SC candidates must attach a latest community certificate showing SC Group-I, II or III under Act No.15 of 2025; applications without it will not be accepted.
