Jangaon AYUSH Multi-Post Recruitment 2026: Overview

The Office of the District Collector and District Magistrate, Jangaon has released Notification No. 14/2026 to engage staff for the National AYUSH Mission (NAM). The people selected will work in the AYUSH Public Health Programmes run in Jangaon district of Telangana, under the administrative control of the Director, Department of AYUSH, Secunderabad.

All posts are filled on an outsourcing basis, so you join through the district outsourcing system rather than as a regular government employee. The drive covers five different roles, from a doctor's post for AYUSH graduates to a field worker post that needs only a Class VII pass. The window is very short — forms are accepted for just three days and the written exam follows the very next day, so keep your certificates ready before you collect the form.

Posts and Disciplines

• AYUSH Medical Officer: the senior clinical role, open to graduates of Ayurveda, Unani, Homoeopathy or Naturopathy who finished a recognised degree course with a one-year compulsory internship. You also need registration with the Board of Indian Medicine.
• Pharmacist: for D.Pharm, B.Pharm or Pharm.D holders; registration with the Telangana Pharmacy Council is compulsory.
• Psychosocial Counselor: an on-call role for Master of Social Work (MSW) graduates. You are paid for each counselling session instead of a fixed monthly amount, and the programme expects at least 200 visits a year.
• Yoga Professional: for candidates with a Naturopathy degree or a Diploma in Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences from a recognised university or state board.
• Multi Purpose Worker (MPW): a field post for Class VII pass candidates; you must be able to ride a bicycle or motorcycle.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Tenure: The engagement runs up to 31 March 2027. After that, your services continue only if the department still needs the post and your performance is satisfactory.
• Merit list: A separate merit list is drawn up for each post using only your written exam marks, and it is displayed on the district website.
• Exam hall rules: You may carry only a valid identity proof, a black or blue ball point pen and an exam pad.
• Study proof: You must attach study certificates from Class 4 to Class 10. If you studied privately, attach a residence certificate from the Tahsildar or MRO instead.
• Late forms: Applications that reach the office after the due date are rejected outright, and the District Selection Committee is not responsible for postal delays.

Download the application form from the official website of the District Collector's Office, Jangaon, fill it in, paste your photograph and attach self-attested copies of your certificates. Hand it over in person or send it by registered post to the Office of the District Medical and Health Officer (DM&HO), 1st Floor, Collectorate, Jangaon District before 5:00 PM on the closing day.

The written exam is held at the Main Conference Hall, IDOC Complex, Collectorate, Jangaon, in the same building as the office that takes the forms.
