Guru Gobind Singh Government Hospital (GGSGH), Raghubir Nagar, Delhi is hiring 2 Senior Resident doctors on a purely adhoc basis through a walk-in interview. If you have an MBBS with PG Degree/Diploma/DNB or 3 years experience in Radiology or Anesthesia, you can attend the daily walk-in interview. Salary is Rs. 67,700 to Rs. 2,08,700 per month at Pay Level-11 of the 7th CPC. The maximum age limit is 45 years and the appointment is for 89 days or till the post is filled on a regular basis.

GGSGH Delhi Senior Resident Walk-in Interview 2026 - 2 Posts

The Office of the Medical Superintendent, Guru Gobind Singh Government Hospital (GGSGH), under the Health & Family Welfare Department, Government of NCT of Delhi, has issued Notice No. F.3/3/125/2023/Estt./PI/GGSGH/Interview SR/Adhoc basis/6735 dated 22 May 2026 for filling Senior Resident posts. The recruitment is purely on adhoc basis against vacant posts of Non-teaching specialists as on 21 May 2026 as per order of the Health & Family Welfare Department. There is no written exam — selection is based on walk-in interview only. Both fresh PG holders and senior residents who have completed up to 3 years of senior residency can apply, with preference given to fresh candidates.

Vacancy Breakdown by Speciality

• Senior Resident (Radiology): 1 post (OBC)
• Senior Resident (Anesthesia): 1 post (SC)

Note: The Senior Resident (Radiology) will be allowed to work for 2-3 days a week in the Department of Radiology, Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital, Hari Nagar, New Delhi.

In case of non-availability of SC candidates, UR (Unreserved) candidates may be considered. The number of vacancies may vary as on the date of publication of result.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You must have an MBBS with P.G. Degree / Diploma / DNB in the concerned specialty, OR three years of experience in the concerned specialty from a recognised university or institution.
• Registration: You must hold a valid registration with the Delhi Medical Council (DMC). If not already registered, you must submit your DMC certificate within 2 weeks of joining.
• Senior Residency Limit: You must not have completed 3 years of Senior Residency in any recognised institution (including regular and adhoc periods combined).
• Preference: Candidates who have already completed 3 years of senior residency can also apply, but preference will be given to candidates who have not completed 3 years of senior residency.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 45 years
• Age relaxation will be applicable as per Government of NCT of Delhi norms for reserved categories.

Salary

• Pay Level: Level-11 of the 7th Central Pay Commission
• Initial basic pay: Rs. 67,700 per month
• Maximum pay in the scale: Rs. 2,08,700 per month
• You will also get DA, HRA, and other admissible allowances as per Government of NCT of Delhi rules.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is purely through walk-in interview:

1. Walk-in Interview: Daily walk-in interview will be conducted till all posts are filled. Report between 09:30 AM and 10:00 AM at B Block, 3rd Floor, Establishment Branch, GGSGH, Raghubir Nagar, New Delhi-110027.
2. Document Verification: All original certificates must be brought for verification on the day of interview.

No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview. Provisions for Persons with Disabilities candidates will be followed as per applicable norms and guidelines.

How to Apply

1. Prepare the standard application form including: Name of post applied for, Name, Father's / Spouse's Name, Date of Birth, Category, Address, DMC Registration Number, Date of Internship Completion, Educational Qualification, Contact Number, and Experience (if any).
2. Attach attested copies of all relevant certificates including ID Proof, Residential Address Proof, and one recent passport-size photograph.
3. Carry all original certificates along with you for verification on the day of interview.
4. Report at B Block, 3rd Floor, Establishment Branch, Guru Gobind Singh Government Hospital, Raghubir Nagar, New Delhi-110027 between 09:30 AM and 10:00 AM.
5. The walk-in interview is conducted on a daily basis until all posts are filled.

• Handle patient care and clinical duties in the assigned specialty (Radiology or Anesthesia)
• Assist the consultants and specialists in diagnosis, procedures, and treatment of patients
• Maintain accurate medical records, case sheets, and reports of all patients under care
• Work in rotating shifts including emergency duty, night duty, and weekend coverage as required
• Follow hospital protocols, infection control practices, and patient safety guidelines
• For Radiology SR: report to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital, Hari Nagar for 2-3 days a week as part of duty
• Participate in academic activities, case discussions, and clinical audits of the department
• Report to the Head of Department and Medical Superintendent on all administrative and clinical matters
