ESIC Noida Teaching Faculty Recruitment 2026 — 30 Posts

Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) Medical College and Hospital, Sector-24, Noida-201301 (UP) has issued a walk-in interview notification for 30 posts of Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor on a contract basis for the Academic Session 2025-2026. The contract is for an initial period of one year, extendable up to three years based on satisfactory performance or until a regular incumbent joins — whichever is earlier. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview. Both Broad Specialty and Super Specialty department posts are available.

Who Can Apply?

For Professor (8 years post-PG experience required):

• Broad Specialty (Medical candidates): MD/MS/DNB in the concerned subject from a recognised institution
• Broad Specialty — Anatomy (Non-medical): M.Sc. (Medical Anatomy) with PhD in Medical Anatomy
• Super Specialty departments: DM/M.Ch./DNB/DrNB in the concerned subject from a recognised institution
• Teaching experience: Must have worked as Associate Professor in the subject for 3 years in a recognised/permitted medical college
• Research: At least 4 research publications (minimum 2 as Associate Professor) in indexed journals (Medline, PubMed Central, Scopus, etc.)
• Must have completed the basic course in Medical Education Technology (NMC designated)
• Must have completed the basic course in Biomedical Research (NMC designated institutions)

For Associate Professor (5 years post-PG experience required):

• Broad Specialty (Medical candidates): MD/MS/DNB in the concerned subject from a recognised institution
• Broad Specialty — Physiology (Non-medical): M.Sc. (Medical Physiology) with PhD in Medical Physiology
• Super Specialty departments: DM/M.Ch./DNB/DrNB in the concerned subject from a recognised institution
• Teaching experience: Must have worked as Assistant Professor for 4 years in a recognised/permitted medical college
• Research: At least 2 research publications in indexed journals (Medline, PubMed Central, Scopus, etc.)
• Must have completed the basic course in Medical Education Technology (NMC designated)
• Must have completed the basic course in Biomedical Research (NMC designated institutions)

For Assistant Professor (1 year post-PG experience required):

• Medical candidates: MD/MS/DNB in the concerned subject from a recognised institution
• Physiology (Non-medical): M.Sc. (Medical Physiology) with PhD in Medical Physiology
• Teaching experience (Essential): 1 year as Senior Resident in the concerned subject in a recognised medical college after acquiring MD/MS degree
• Teaching experience (Desirable): 3 years as Senior Resident/Tutor/Demonstrator/Registrar/Assistant Professor after acquiring MD/MS degree

Note: Retired candidates from Central/State Government/PSU from equivalent posts are also eligible to apply. Persons working in recognised/approved private medical institutions fulfilling eligibility criteria may also apply.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 67 years as on the date of interview (29 April 2026)
• No lower age limit is specified in the notification
• The maximum tenure for engagement will not exceed 3 years or 70 years of age — whichever is earlier

Salary

• Professor: Rs. 2,60,226 per month (total consolidated pay)
• Associate Professor: Rs. 1,73,045 per month (total consolidated pay)
• Assistant Professor: Rs. 1,48,669 per month (total consolidated pay)
• Note: For non-medical faculty (Anatomy/Physiology), consolidated pay will be arrived at after reducing the NPA element.
• No private practice is allowed after joining as teaching faculty at ESIC Medical College, Noida
• Selected candidates must furnish a security deposit DD/Bankers Cheque of Rs. 30,000 in favour of ESI Fund Account No. 1, payable at Noida

• All other categories (General / OBC / EWS etc.): Rs. 500
• Payment mode: Demand Draft in favour of "ESI Fund A/c No.-1" payable at Noida
• Fee once paid is non-refundable under any circumstances.

Selection Process

Selection is through a Walk-in Interview — no written exam is conducted.

1. Walk-in Interview: Appear at Conference Room, Ground Floor, ESIC Medical College and Hospital, Noida on 29 April 2026 at 09:00 am onwards with duly filled application form and documents
2. Document Verification: Bring all original documents and one set of self-attested copies. No candidate will be entertained after 11:00 am on the scheduled date
3. Final Selection: Decision of the Selection Board will be final on all aspects of selection

Note: If no OBC/SC/ST candidate appears for a reserved category, the Selection Board may select UR category candidates against that vacancy for 44 days as per ESIC guidelines.

• Guide and mentor postgraduate students in research, thesis work, and clinical training
• Publish original research papers in NMC-recognised indexed journals (Medline, PubMed, Scopus, etc.)
• Participate in departmental academic activities, conferences, and CME programmes
• Maintain clinical services in the hospital department as assigned by the Head of Department
• Follow all ESIC Medical College rules and NMC guidelines for teaching and patient care
