ESIC Jhilmil Senior Resident Recruitment 2026 — 17 Posts

Indira Gandhi ESIC Hospital, Jhilmil, Delhi-110095, under the Ministry of Labour & Employment, is one of the key ESIC hospitals in the national capital. This walk-in drive aims to fill 17 Senior Resident vacancies on a contractual basis in departments like Anesthesia/ICU, Gynae & Obs., Pediatrics & NICU, Orthopedics, and Dermatology. The appointment will continue till the joining of Regular SR/GDMO/ESIC DNB-SR or for 1 year, whichever is earlier.

Who Can Apply?

• MBBS with PG Degree/DNB/Diploma or equivalent in the concerned specialty from a recognized University or Institution, as per the residency scheme
• Must be registered with the Delhi Medical Council at the time of interview and at the time of joining
• If PG candidates are not available, preference goes to candidates with PG Degree/DNB/Diploma. Those without PG but with 2 years of experience (at least 1 year in the concerned specialty) from a Government or Private Hospital (not a Private Clinic) may also be considered as Senior Resident on contract basis
• Applicants who have completed 3 years of Senior Residency under any residency scheme are not eligible
• Must be an Indian citizen by birth or domicile

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 45 years as on the date of interview (13 April 2026)
• OBC candidates: 3 years relaxation (up to 48 years)
• SC/ST candidates: 5 years relaxation (up to 50 years)
• PwD candidates: Age relaxation as per Central Government rules

Salary

• Consolidated salary: Rs. 1,48,669 per month (with current rate of DA)
• Transport Allowance with DA on Transport Allowance as per ESIC HQ Office Order
• If you hold only a Diploma (not a PG Degree), Rs. 1,688 will be deducted from your salary
• If you don't have a PG Degree/Diploma, Rs. 2,813 will be deducted
• Salary is revised as per Government of India/ESIC HQ Office Orders from time to time
• No claim for PF, Pension, Gratuity, Medical Allowance, Seniority, Promotion, or leave benefits

Application Fee

• UR/OBC candidates: Rs. 300 (Non-Refundable Demand Draft in favour of "ESI Fund Account No. 1" payable at New Delhi)
• SC/ST/PwD/Female candidates: No fee (Exempted)
• You must bring the DD at the time of the interview — candidates without the required DD will not be allowed

Security Deposit at Joining: Selected candidates must furnish a DD of Rs. 10,000 (Ten Thousand only) drawn in favour of ESI Fund Account No. 1 payable at New Delhi. This is refundable after completion of tenure (minimum 2-month service including notice period of 1 month) and production of No Dues certificate.

2. Walk-in Interview — Face-to-face interview at Indira Gandhi ESIC Hospital, Block D, Jhilmil Colony, Jhilmil, Delhi-110095
3. Medical Examination — Selected candidates must be declared medically fit

Important: No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview. You need to make your own arrangement for stay — no hostel or quarter facility will be provided.

• Handle patient consultations, examinations, and treatment in your assigned department at ESIC Hospital Jhilmil
• Assist senior doctors and specialists in surgeries, procedures, and clinical decision-making
• Monitor patient progress, update medical records, and ensure timely follow-ups
• Work in shifts as required, including emergency and ICU duties for concerned departments
• Follow ESIC hospital protocols, infection control guidelines, and patient safety standards
• Prepare discharge summaries, case sheets, and clinical reports accurately
• Manage OPD and IPD duties as assigned by the Head of Department
