ESIC Faridabad Senior Resident Recruitment 2026: Overview

Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) Medical College and Hospital, Faridabad, located at NH-3, NIT-3, is hiring Senior Residents for its three critical-care units: ICU, NICU and PICU. The college works under the Ministry of Labour and Employment, and these are contract posts that start for one year and can be stretched up to three years if your work is good.

This is a pure walk-in drive: your documents are checked in the morning and the interview follows the same day. Posts and Disciplines

• Senior Resident (ICU): work in the adult intensive care unit, handling critically ill patients from across the hospital.
• Senior Resident (NICU): work in the neonatal intensive care unit, caring for sick and premature newborns.
• Senior Resident (PICU): work in the paediatric intensive care unit for seriously ill children.
• Provisional numbers: The college says the vacancies may go up or down depending on patient-care needs.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Medical registration: You need an updated NMC or State Medical Council registration covering all your post-MBBS qualifications. If it is still pending, bring proof that you have applied; you must submit the updated certificate before joining.
• NOC for government doctors: If you work in a government, autonomous or statutory institution, bring a No Objection Certificate, or a copy of your NOC request plus an undertaking.
• Reserved seats: If no reserved-category candidate is available, a meritorious candidate may be given a 39-day engagement at the Appointing Authority's discretion. PwD appointees are adjusted against their own category.
• No private practice: Private practice in any form is banned after you join.
• No service benefits: The post carries a consolidated pay only — no PF, pension, gratuity, medical allowance, seniority or promotion.
• Accommodation: Hostel or quarters are given only if available; if you take them, no HRA is paid and licence fee is deducted.
• Attendance: You must mark attendance daily both manually and on the Aadhaar Enabled Biometric Attendance System (AEBAS). Staying away for more than seven days without approval ends the contract automatically.
• Resignation and deposit: Give one month's notice or pay one month's salary. Leaving within six months of joining forfeits the security deposit, except in unavoidable circumstances.
• Early end: The contract ends if a bonded Senior Resident joins against the same post.
