ESIC Faridabad Faculty Recruitment 2026: Overview

Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) Medical College and Hospital, Faridabad, on NH-3 in NIT-3, is filling Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor posts in its broad specialty departments through a single walk-in interview. The college runs under the Ministry of Labour and Employment, and every post here is a contract engagement that starts for one year and can run up to three years.

The drive covers more than twenty departments, from pre-clinical subjects like Anatomy and Physiology to clinical units such as Medicine, Surgery, ICU and Radiology. • Assistant Professor: Accident and Emergency Medicine, Anaesthesia, Anatomy, Chest, Forensic Medicine, ICU, Medicine, OBG, Pathology, Paediatrics, Physiology, Radiology and Surgery; one extra OBG post was added by corrigendum.
• Conditional reserved posts: Several reserved-category posts are currently held by unreserved faculty; the interview for those posts will happen only if candidates from that reserved category turn up.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Qualification rules: Eligibility follows the latest NMC guidelines, including the Medical Institutions (Qualification of Faculty) Regulations 2025 notified on 30 June 2025.
• Tenure: One year at first, extendable up to three years on satisfactory performance; the engagement cannot continue beyond age 70.
• No service benefits: You get a consolidated pay only — no PF, pension or gratuity.
• Security deposit: Selected faculty deposit a demand draft on joining. It is forfeited if you resign within six months, except in exceptional cases, and refunded after the contract ends with a No Dues Certificate.
• Resignation: You must give one month's notice or pay one month's salary instead.
• Practice and attendance: Private practice is not allowed, and attendance is marked on the biometric system.
• Accommodation: Hostel or quarters are given only if available.
• Termination: The college can end the service at any time in public interest.
