ESIC Faridabad Faculty Recruitment 2026: Overview

Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), which works under the Ministry of Labour and Employment, is hiring Professors, Associate Professors and Assistant Professors for its Medical College and Hospital at NIT-3, Faridabad. This is a revised, final advertisement that replaces the earlier notice for the same walk-in, so go by this version only. Selection is through a walk-in interview on campus, and the posts are contractual for one year at first, extendable up to three years. Posts and Disciplines

The openings sit at three faculty levels across the college's broad specialty departments:

• Professor: senior faculty posts for experienced teachers who can lead teaching and clinical work in a department.
• Associate Professor: mid-level faculty posts spread over clinical, para-clinical and pre-clinical departments.
• Assistant Professor: entry-level faculty posts, open in the widest range of departments, including the critical-care and emergency units.

Departments covered

• Pre-clinical and para-clinical: Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pathology, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Forensic Medicine and Community Medicine.
• Clinical: Medicine, Surgery, Orthopaedics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology (OBG), Paediatrics, ENT, Eye, Dermatology, Psychiatry, Chest, Radiology, Anaesthesia and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PMR).
• Critical and emergency care: Accident and Emergency Medicine and the ICU.
• Reproductive Medicine and Surgery: a specialised department listed separately in the notice.

Not every department has an opening at every level. Check the department-wise table in the official notice to confirm that your speciality has a post at your level before you travel.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Reserved posts held by unreserved faculty: Posts marked with an asterisk are currently held by unreserved faculty working against a reserved post. Interviews for these will be held only if candidates from that reserved category turn up.
• Contract term: One year at first, extendable up to three years subject to approval and satisfactory performance. ESIC can end the service at any time in public interest.
• Resignation: You must give one month's notice or pay one month's salary instead.
• Security deposit: Every selected faculty member pays a refundable security deposit by demand draft. It is forfeited if you resign within six months, except in exceptional circumstances.
• No service benefits: The contract carries no PF, pension or gratuity.
• Private practice: Not allowed. Attendance is marked through the biometric system.
• Housing: Hostel or quarters are given only if available.
• Certificates: EWS and OBC certificates must be in the Government of India format.
• Travel: No TA/DA is paid for attending the interview.

Fill in the offline application form attached to the advertisement and bring it with self-attested copies of your documents to the Examination Hall, Academic Block, ESIC Medical College and Hospital, Faridabad. Reporting is between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM, and only candidates whose documents are verified will be interviewed.
