Deendayal Research Institute (DRI), New Delhi has released Advertisement No. DRIKVKG/2026-27/34 for filling four vacant posts at LBS Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Gopalgram, Gonda. These positions are 100% funded by ICAR and are temporary, likely to continue as long as the scheme is sanctioned by ICAR. The selected candidates will work at the KVK, but can be transferred to other KVKs under the host institute. Freshers as well as candidates with up to 2 years of experience can apply.

Who Can Apply?

For Assistant

• Essential: Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University
• Desirable: Sound knowledge of accounting with minimum 2 years of Tally Accounting experience from a recognized institution

For Program Assistant (Computer)/T4

• Essential: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or any other branch of Computer Science or equivalent qualification from a recognized University
• Desirable: Minimum 2 years of experience in computer applications/IT management; knowledge of networking and software

For Stenographer Grade III

• Essential: 12th passed or equivalent from a recognized board or university
• Skill test: Dictation test in English or Hindi at 80 w.p.m for 10 minutes. Transcription on computer in 50 minutes (English) or 65 minutes (Hindi)
• Desirable: Minimum 2 years of experience in a recognized institution

For Driver/T1

• Essential: Matriculation pass from a recognized Board, plus a valid driving license
• Skill test: Practical driving skill test by an Institute committee
• Desirable: ITI trade certificate, 2 years of driving experience, and tractor driving skills

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 30 years for all posts as on the closing date of application
• Age relaxation as per ICAR rules for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates
• The crucial date for age is the closing date for receipt of application

Salary

• Assistant and Program Assistant: Level-6 of 7th CPC pay matrix — Rs. 35,400 to Rs. 1,12,400 per month (pre-revised PB-2 Rs. 9,300-34,800 + GP Rs. 4,200)
• Stenographer Grade III: Level-4 of 7th CPC pay matrix — Rs. 25,500 to Rs. 81,100 per month (pre-revised PB-1 Rs. 5,200-20,200 + GP Rs. 2,400)
• Driver/T1: Level-3 of 7th CPC pay matrix — Rs. 21,700 to Rs. 69,100 per month (pre-revised PB-1 Rs. 5,200-20,200 + GP Rs. 2,000)
• Plus DA, HRA and other allowances as per ICAR rules

• SC / ST: Rs. 750
• Payment mode: Bank Draft only in favour of "Deendayal Research Institute, Delhi" payable at Jhandewala, Delhi

Selection Process

The selection will be done in these stages:

1. Written Examination (Screening): The Institute will conduct a written exam for screening before interview
2. Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted in a ratio of 10 times the number of posts
3. Skill Test: Typing test for Stenographer; practical driving test for Driver
4. Interview: Personal interview for shortlisted candidates
5. Medical Examination: Selected candidates must pass medical fitness check

Note: Possessing the essential qualification does not entitle a candidate to be shortlisted for interview.
