Defence Research Laboratory (DRL), Tezpur — one of the premier labs under DRDO working on defence biotechnology and life sciences — is looking for 15 bright researchers to join ongoing projects. If you hold a postgraduate or doctoral degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Chemistry, Environmental Science, or Horticulture, this could be your entry into India's defence research ecosystem with a monthly stipend of up to Rs. 67,000 plus HRA.

Selection Process

Selection is purely through a walk-in interview — there is no written exam. JRF candidates will be interviewed on 7 April 2026 and RA candidates on 8 April 2026. You need to report at 10:00 AM sharp at the DRL campus in Tezpur. Make sure your CV reaches hrd.drl@gov.in before the 31 March deadline, as only shortlisted candidates will be interviewed.
