Who Can Apply?

For Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) — Rs. 27,000/month:

• Bachelor's degree in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks, plus a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from an NCTE-recognized institution

For Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) — Rs. 29,000/month:

• Master's degree in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks, plus a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from an NCTE-recognized institution

If you are applying for a medium-specific subject, you must have studied that same medium at the Secondary (SSC) level. This condition does not apply to language subject teachers of Gujarati, Marathi, Hindi or English. You can apply for only one post/subject.

Age Limit

• Your age should not exceed 30 years as on the last date of application.
• Age Relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxable as per orders and guidelines issued by the Central Government from time to time.

Salary

• Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT) get a consolidated monthly pay of Rs. 27,000.
• Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) get a consolidated monthly pay of Rs. 29,000.
• This is a fixed monthly remuneration for the Short Term Contract (STC) period under the Samagra Shiksha scheme.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

There is no written exam for these posts. Selection happens directly through:

1. Walk-in Interview: Held on 10 August 2026 (Monday) at 09:30 AM at Shiksha Sadan, Moti Daman.
2. Document Verification: All original certificates and mark sheets must be submitted in hard copy at the time of the interview.
