DLSA Sheopur Driver Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

The Office of District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), District Court Sheopur, Madhya Pradesh has released a notification (No. 509/Sthapna/JiViSePra/2026 dated 17 April 2026) for the post of Contract Driver. This recruitment is being done as per the directions of the M.P. State Legal Services Authority, Jabalpur (letter No. 126/2026 dated 9 April 2026). Candidates who are also qualified mechanics will get preference in the selection. The contract will initially be for 2 years and can be extended by 1 more year based on satisfactory performance.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You must have passed 10th class (Matriculation) from any recognised board.
• Driving Licence: You need a valid driving licence (LMV or HMV).
• Experience: You must have experience in driving all types of vehicles.
• Preference: Candidates who are also qualified mechanics will be given preference.

Age Limit

• You must have completed 18 years of age as on 1 January 2026.
• The notification does not mention any maximum age limit.

Salary

• You will get a fixed monthly salary of Rs. 12,000 per month.
• This is a contract-based post with no regular pay scale or DA/HRA.
• You will be eligible for 13 days of casual leave per calendar year.

Selection Process

Selection will be done in two stages:

1. Practical Driving Test: A practical driving test is mandatory. The date will be announced separately and you will be informed.
2. Interview: The interview date will be fixed after the last date of application and informed to you separately.

If you do not appear for the driving test or interview on the fixed date, your application will be cancelled and no separate test will be conducted for you.

4. Paste a recent passport-size colour photo (not older than 3 months from the notification date).
5. Submit the form in person at the Office of District Legal Services Authority, District Court Sheopur, M.P. OR send it by post.
6. Make sure the application reaches the office on or before 15 May 2026 by 5:00 PM. Applications received after this will not be considered.
